Get Your Prints Right First Time
We want your plans to look their best. To make sure everything prints accurately, here’s a quick guide to preparing your files before upload.
Accepted File Formats
We accept the following file types:
If you’re unsure, just send what you have – we’ll let you know if anything needs adjusting.
File setup tips
Scale
Your drawings should be at the correct scale (e.g. 1:100 at A1). If you’re not sure, include a scale bar or measurements.
Orientation
Either portrait or landscape is fine. Let us know if it’s important which way it’s printed.
Page Size
Please size your file to match the print size you’re ordering – A0, A1, A2, A3 or A4.
Line Weights
Use clear, visible line weights to ensure nothing is lost in print – especially for technical or electrical diagrams.

Colour & Black & White Files
- If you're ordering black & white prints, we recommend converting your files to greyscale for accurate output.
- For colour prints, use CMYK where possible (but we’ll happily print from RGB too – we’ll optimise on our end if needed).
Multiple Files or Pages?
- Combine all pages into a single PDF
- Name your files clearly (e.g. “Site Plan – A1 – Colour – Folded.pdf”)
- Remember to let us know how many pages there are within each pdf file that you need printing.
- If you have mixed specs (e.g. some folded, some rolled), just include instructions in your message
We’ll Check Everything Before Printing
We review every file before printing. If anything’s unclear – like page size, resolution, or file quality – we’ll contact you before going ahead. No nasty surprises.
